Ryan is the owner of Designs By Ryan & Associates LLC, an interior design and events planning company located in Des Moines, Iowa.

Of course, saying Ryan is just a designer is like saying Liberace was just a piano player. Accurate, but dull. Ryan is anything but dull.

It’s hard to believe that this small town kid from Parkersburg, Iowa, who once showed hogs and cattle at the county fair, now designs for the rich and famous of Des Moines.

Then again, it’s not hard to believe at all once you see what he brings to his designs and events. Did we already mention flair? Add in style, edge and a touch of flourish.

The best example of Ryan’s work can be seen at the premiere Des Moines event of Winefest. Winefest is an extravaganza event that brings in hundreds of vintners from across the country and beyond. Thousands come to taste the fruit of their vines at exclusive 7 course meals, galas and two grand tastings. Ryan helps oversee all of the events and designs the flowers and décor. It’s all volunteer work to raise money for charity.

No matter how busy he is with his business and his volunteer work, he always has time to shop… and of course for his 8-year old son, Christian.

Christian is a big time sports fanatic who loves to play baseball. And even at Christian’s games, Ryan never stops planning events. He is in charge of organizing the fans, bringing pom poms, banners, flags… everything to get the crowd excited and bring flair to the great American pastime. The other teams certainly take notice.
